qwerty experiment17–08–21

"qwerty" was a social experiment during the pandemic that studied the behaviour behind social media analytics. I programmed a character to interact with people on different social platforms. In order to provoke and engage different digital niches, qwerty's political discourse changed during the months that the project took place. Each discourse was represented by a different alter ego, after going through all the different types of discourses the character went through its final form: qwerty. "qwerty" foi um experimento social durante a pandemia que estudou o comportamento por trás da análise de mídia social. Programei um personagem para interagir com pessoas em diferentes plataformas sociais. Para provocar e engajar diferentes nichos digitais, o discurso político do qwerty mudou durante os meses em que o projeto aconteceu. Cada discurso foi representado por um alter ego diferente, depois de passar por todos os diferentes tipos de discursos o personagem passou por sua forma final: qwerty. Número Zero Publication & Exhibition28–07–22

Numero Zero is an ongoing extracurricular publication in the British School of Creative Arts in São Paulo. In its third instalment, I was directed as one of two to coordinate the project.
We moulded the project into a case study about political contexts that could influence the dynamic between type and image in the Brazilian context. Through five workshops we were able to study linguistic constructs, the value of imagery and the value of identity. The case studies that came from the five workshops were formalised into pieces and presented in open exhibitions. My team and I were responsible for the entire production of these events.

Numero Zero é uma publicação extracurricular em andamento na Escola Britânica de Artes Criativas de São Paulo. Em sua terceira instalação, fui direcionado como um dos dois para coordenar o projeto. Moldamos o projeto para se tornar um estudo de caso sobre contextos políticos que poderiam influenciar a dinâmica entre tipo e imagem no contexto brasileiro. Através de cinco oficinas pudemos estudar construtos linguísticos, o valor da imagem e o valor da identidade. Os estudos de caso provenientes das cinco oficinas foram formalizados em peças e apresentados em exposições abertas. Eu e minha equipe fomos responsáveis por toda a produção desses eventos.

Water Video Collages09–05–21

This project is a collection of video collages that came from videos that I made over several months. During that time my objective was to understand the different contexts that surround water, coming from a city like São Paulo I've always had a very distant relationship with it. So I started making videos every time I found water in a different context and made these collages as a result of that.

Este projeto é uma coleção de colagens de vídeos que vieram de vídeos que fiz durante vários meses. Durante esse tempo meu objetivo era entender os diferentes contextos que envolvem a água, vindo de uma cidade como São Paulo sempre tive uma relação muito distante com ela. Então comecei a fazer vídeos sempre que encontrava água em um contexto diferente e depois fiz essas colagens como resultado disso.

Exteriorize VR Experience21–06–20

Exteriorize is a VR experience from the videos I gathered. This video is a collection of different types of works that people sent me during the first months of COVID. Since it was a very delicate moment in the time, the project was made with the intention of making people share anything that they felt was relevant at the time, and the final product ended up representing a shared experience of a time when we are all isolated in our thoughts.

Exteriorize é uma experiência de realidade virtual dos vídeos que reuni. Este vídeo é uma coleção de diferentes tipos de trabalhos que as pessoas me enviaram durante os primeiros meses do COVID. Por se tratar de um momento muito delicado da época, o projeto foi feito com a intenção de fazer com que as pessoas compartilhassem tudo o que sentissem ser relevante na época, e o produto final acabou representando uma experiência compartilhada de uma época em que todos estamos isolados em nossos pensamentos.
